Workshops for The Gathering Festival of Music & Arts 2025
Thursday 6th February:
Schools Outreach Programme. Gathering team visits local primary schools with musicians, singers & dancers along with the pupils promoting Sliabh Luachra music. This event is made possible by the sponsorship of Killarney Credit Union

Gleneagle Ballroom: Set Dance Workshop with Pat Murphy. Doors 10.30am. Running 11am - 3pm. Day Ticket €12/Half day tickets €6 (Weekend wristbands free)
Instrument Workshops 10am - 3pm (Pre booking advised for beginners or register at the box office on the day)
MOD Suite 5: Fiddle workshop with Tara Breen (not for beginners)
MOD Suite 4: Fiddle workshop with Aidan Connolly
MOD Suite 3: Accordion Workshop with Ann Conroy Burke (not for beginners)
MOD Suite 2: Singing workshop with Roisin Ryan in Irish & English
Green Room: Set Dance Workshop (Cork & Kerry sets) with John "The Leaper" Lynch. 10.30am - 12.30pm & 2pm - 4pm. Tickets full day €12/ half day €6 - Tickets available at box office on the day.
TV Lounge: Free Lecture - Sliabh Luachra Music Past and Present with Nicky McAuliffe. 3.30pm
